Deleting your Riali data

You can delete your Riali account and everything in it, at any time, without telling us why.

How

Open Profile → Delete my data, or email team@riali.app from the address on your account. We will confirm with you before anything is deleted.

What gets deleted

Your account and email address, your profile and every sign-up answer, the dated history of changes to your answers, your bodyweight history, your allergies and the foods you avoid, your check-ins and food notes, the week you set in My week, your training logs, your supplement selections, your shopping lists, your streak, any coach code you used, any problem reports you sent, and any update sign-ups or coach requests made with your email.

What we keep, and why

A record of each payment (reference, plan, amount and date), with your name, email and account removed. Kenyan law may require us to hold payment records for five years. Paystack, our payment provider, keeps its own record of your payments for as long as it needs to provide its services and meet its own legal obligations, under its own privacy policy. Deleting your Riali account does not delete anything at Paystack. A problem report you sent is also emailed to our inbox; email team@riali.app and we will delete that copy too.

How long it takes

Your data is deleted straight away when you confirm. Backups may hold copies a little longer. They are overwritten on a regular cycle and are not used for anything.
